Durga Puja 2k18 (Traditional Look)

Hello Guys!

First of all I would like to wish you all a very Happy Navaratri and Durga Puja. It’s the time of the year which brings true colours of festival to our Life. And to celebrate this festival with all the charm, we ladies goes from a lot pressure to stand out from the crowd. We need something that’ll compliment the festival feeling.

And to indulge all this, Sarees are always the first preference amongst women during this time of year because it can make you look Elegant as well as Classy. Especially cotton one as it can be wear casually, formally and even in the parties.

So today I have created a simple yet bold look for this Durga Puja. Just got my hands on a cotton fabric handloom saree from my Mom’s closet. My first reason to pick a Saree is that I love wearing Saree. Secondly this festival is meant to Honor the Power of Female ‘Shakti-Maa Durga’ and I thought Saree will portray the strong version of Nari.

For this look I wore a Black printed cotton saree which has a zari woven design along the border and pallu end.

Keeping my makeup clean and subtle, just added kohl and eyeliner to my eyes and a red lipstick on my lips. Applied little bit of blush and highlighter on my cheeks.

For my hairs, I just tied a loose bun in the backside and gave a puff kind of look from the front.

Accessorised my Saree with golden-bronze Jhumka and wore a Kangan of same colour in one hand and a watch in other.
